Bartram's Bridge

Bartram's Bridge spans the county line between Delaware and Chester Counties -- for a short space, Crum Creek is the boundary. Bartram's is situated along the highway that bypassed it in 1941, Goshen Road, just to the left of the highway. The bridge is in a small roadside park. Notice the distinctive diagonal boarding about the portal.

Bartram's Introduces Itself

Bartram's Bridge was in poor condition, but has now been renovated.

Delaware County's only covered bridge, Bartram's is unique and distinctive, and is located in a picturesque, rural section of our rather urbanized county.
