Cabin Run Bridge

Cabin Run Bridge is one of two quite near one another on Cabin Run in central Bucks County. It can be simply summed up as a typical Bucks County covered bridge in an isolated, wooded and picturesque location. The red-and-white portals are a little more ornate than most.

The interior view of Cabin Run Covered Bridge illustrates the typical characteristics of Bucks County covered bridges especially well. Note the grid of the Town Truss (named for Ithiel Town) and the inner wall siding at the portal. A number of Bucks bridges, like this one, were built by David Sutton; and perhaps this illustrates his ideas.
