A familiar landmark to French Creek fishermen, Hall's Sheeder Bridge is a fairly typical Chester County bridge, and the oldest bridge still standing in Chester County. Hall's Sheeder Bridge carries fairly heavy traffic, but is well kept up by PennDOT. In the past, the bridge has been damaged by collisions, but damage observed a few years ago had been repaired by Oct. 1994, and Hall's Sheeder Bridge appeared to be in very good condition. Hall's Sheeder bridge has a particularly attractive location, and photographers can get a good angle on the wrack in the French Creek bed, if the creek is not running full.
