Shearer's Bridge

Shearer's Bridge, originally built in 1847, was rebuilt in 1856 and moved to its present site, in Manheim Memorial Park, in 1971. Its original site was four miles away on Chickie's Creek, which it still crosses. The bridge is now limited to foot and bicycle traffic. Like Schenk's Mill, another old survivor, it has horizontal clapboard sides and windows at either end.
