Enumclaw is a town in Washington State. I don't know if there is really a "First National Bank of Enumclaw," but "First National Bank of ... " would be a pretty common way of naming a bank in the U.S.A. Historically, that would mean that the bank had at one time a Federal charter, and probably was the first bank in town to hold a Federal charter. There might be a "Second National Bank," or even a "Third National Bank," though that wouldn't be very common, since "First" has a stature that "Second" or "Third" lack. We sometimes see jokes about the "Last National Bank," and even the Third could have a comical sound. (Churches, too may be "First" and sometimes "Second" or "Third," as in "Second Unitarian Church" of Boston.) In our example, we will speak of the "First," "Second," "Third" National Banks to correspond to the first, second, third and subsequent stages of our example.
